Winter Wonderland, Friday, December 2nd, 8 p.m. CST

Tuesday, November 29th, 2011

When it snows, ain’t it thrilling,
Though your nose gets a chilling
We’ll frolic and play, the Ultima way,
Walking in a winter wonderland.

You can fight back against the weather! The freezing wind whips ice crystals across your frostbitten face, your numb hand feels frozen to your war hammer, and your feet sink into the deep snow. Yet you march on, determined to take back what is yours!

Join us Friday, December 2nd, at 8 p.m. CST, at the Meeting Hall near Brit. Moongate, 24° 26’S, 1° 11’E. There will be a gate from the Counselor Hall. We will have a short Meet & Greet before the event. The event will start immediately after the Meet & Greet.

The Long Winter, Saturday, November 19th, 8:00 p.m. CST

Wednesday, November 16th, 2011

Winter is almost here and Squirrel Klickitat is worried about his friends. Are they well-provisioned for the months of darkness and cold? Sosaria has seemed very dangerous lately and he doesn’t dare go visiting alone.

Meet at the Counselor Hall on Saturday, November 19th, at 8:00 p.m. CST.

Treasure Hunt Race, Saturday, November 12th, 8:00 p.m. CST

Friday, November 4th, 2011

Meet Saturday, November 12th, at 8:00 p.m. CST at the Nujel’m chessboard.

  • Teams and individuals welcome. Individuals will be assembled into teams.
  • Each team must have 2 to 5 members. A team of 5 is recommended
  • One member of the team must be a GM Treasure Hunter, with GM Cartography and GM Lockpicking. GM Mining is not required, but is recommended.
  • Each team must have a book with their roster on the first page. The Treasure Hunter should be listed first.
  • Team names and colors will be assigned at the event.
  • We are limited to ten teams for this event. Should we have more we will ask that smaller teams merge.

The winning team will represent Great Lakes when we challenge another shard!

Treasure Hunt Race Rules
We reserve the right to make changes and additions to these rules.

  1. All team members must wear their team’s colored robes at all times.
  2. To complete each map a team must:
    a. Kill all guardians.
    b. Empty the chest
    c. Leave the chest (The empty chest must be at the site or the level must be redone.)
  3. Once the map has been completed, say “Ready”. The EM shadowing the team will gate them back to the Nujel’m Chessboard when the team has been cleared (chest is empty and all spawn killed).
  4. All team members must then sit down in their team’s row.
  5. The team’s Treasure Hunter will be given the next level map. As soon as s/he has the map, the team can go to the site.
  6. The first team to complete all maps (levels 1 – 7) will be the champions.

In response to a question from yesterday: the maps will all be for the Trammel facet.
